Maternity sessions just make you want to have another baby! You have this beautiful Mama-to-be and her doting husband in tow and they are about to experience life’s greatest accomplishment! Its always fun to photograph the belly and then a few weeks later meet the little bugger that was inside there! Michelle and Ryan wanted to do some outdoor shots and I took them to one of my favorite locations…The Japanese Tea Gardens (you gotta get there early, because its not a secret how beautiful it is…we tripped over about 7 other photographers). Its such a magical place that at certain times of year is in full bloom! I have to say, Michelle has the perfect baby bump and we’re excited to meet her bouncing baby boy, Ryder in a few months! (or Baby Ry-Ry as he might be called).
Enjoy the silence you two…this is the calm before the storm of parenthood!

A little bit country and a little bit rock n roll is how I would describe this couple…not based on their music tastes. She’s artistic and creative, he’s a Man’s Man and sporty…they fit like a puzzle piece…just perfect! I love engagement sessions…you can really get to know a couple before their wedding and its just plain fun to hang out and watch two people in love! (Ok, maybe because I do this for a living and I actually enjoy happy people…but seriously, I leave each session with a spring in my step) We had a whirlwind of a session that started at the Landa Library, went to La Villita and finished at Zinc Wine Bar (one of my favorite haunts). Mollie and Will are getting ready to tie the knot in a fabulous outdoor ceremony here in San Antonio…more details on that next month.
PS. I’m honored to be a part of your day…Cheers to you two love birds!

We had so much fun with the A family for their holiday portrait session! (Now is the time to get your portrait sessions before the holidaze are upon you! And yes, daze is correct!) We met them at a park near their home and we only had to bribe the kiddos once! The sweet little girl could seriously be a GAP model in her navy dress and fluffy white cloud of a coat! She got to model my secret smile weapon – googly glasses are a hit most of the time…Anyway, Mrs. A did an awesome job with wardrobe…I might have her consult with my clients for upcoming shoots! I can’t wait to see their holiday cards!
(Such a cute family!)

Nothing better than the love of a sibling! (at this age at least!)

She’s even cute with silly glasses on!

CN Photography LOVES to photograph parties and this Lilly Pulitzer inspired 1st Birthday Party takes the Cake Pop! The teal and pink colors were so bright and cheery! But enough about the colors, lets talk about the sweets! The candy buffet made my heart flutter from just the shear volume of candy (this is before I got my pink polka-dot bag to go)! There were cupcakes, cake pops, beautiful bright cookies, and lets not forget the cake with its sweet fondant animals and birthday banner! I could go on and on about the awesome details…but I’ll let theĀ pictures to the talking today! Also, make sure you look up Joanne at Oh Goodie Designs http://www.ohgoodiedesigns.blogspot.com/ because she took the Mom’s Lilly Pulitzer idea and totally made it all happen! Joanne one of the sweetest (no pun intended) coordinator/designers to work with and I know you’ll love her! PS. I’m really looking forward to this little girl’s sweet 16 party, because the 1st one was a complete hit!
