Vintage ’40s Style + Georgetown, TX

April 27th, 2011

I love my job! I love my clients and I LOVE Brides that do things just a little bit different…(and I love to say LOVE! I guess I’m in the right business?!) Amanda and Tim were soo fun to photograph! This wedding was ALL about the DETAILS! He wore a Zoot suit complete with a cool hat (love accessories) and black/white wingtip shoes. Of course she had feathers AND pearls to go with her sexy strappy black heals and non-traditional black necklace (with her grandparents weddings bands attached). They mixed sand instead of lighting candles and he gave her a toe ring instead of a wedding band! The Bridal Party looked and played the part – I kept waiting for someone to break out a Tommy Gun! The scene was like a movie…especially in the end when the gangster gets the girl and they ride off into the night…Thank you Amanda and Tim for allowing me to photograph your wedding! I enjoyed stepping outside of the norm and into your Vintage ’40s Wedding Day!

Katie Loves Bryan + Helotes, TX

April 27th, 2011

I love, love, love this couple! Katie and Bryan live in Houston but came down to San Antonio this past weekend to take their Engagement portraits. We had a blast and found some really cool locations in Helotes. Bryan has two loves…his 15 year old boots and his girl Katie! Look for their wedding pictures in August!

Four-Legged Family + McAllister Park

April 25th, 2011

They braved snakes, wind and allergies to have their portraits made, but I think it was worth it! The Cobb family are the sweetest and really enjoyed each others company! There were a few crazy moments – like when a rattlesnake threatened to end our portrait session, but they pressed on and kept smiling! We had a blast photographing each member of the Cobb family, from the two-legged to the four! Don’t forget your pets the next time you have your family portrait made! CN Photography loves pets…but please, no rattlesnakes!

Spring + I Year Old

April 6th, 2011

Doesn’t she just make you want to put on a tu-tu and frolic in the grass? Sweet little S did such a great job during her portrait session. She let us do wardrobe changes and put her in the grass without so much as a fussy face! She has a great serious face too – which might actually be my favorite look for her…Watch out for this cutie pie – we’ll be seeing more of her from her upcoming birthday party!

Beach + Dreams

April 4th, 2011

I interrupt our regularly scheduled posts of brides, grooms, puppies and babies…to show you what inspires me. I’ve been making new collateral pieces all day…stuck in front of the computer. I can’t seem to get anything done, because I recently ran across these photos I took down at the coast last summer. As I listen to my hard drive hum and the FedEx man dropping off packages, I can almost hear the waves crashing at my feet. To my toes on the carpet, it almost feels like sand…

It may be Monday and I might be editing in front of my computer, but my heart and my dreams are at the beach!
