When a great friend of the family asked me to photograph her pampered pooch…I literally cleared my schedule! I consider myself well versed in the ways of Humans (well…usually if the “said Human” is under 3 feet tall and responds well with candy bribes in exchange for big bright smiles), but not so much with the four legged kind. Now please, don’t get me wrong…I love puppies (you all know my Golden Retriever Arri), but for some reason I have never been commissioned to photograph them. I know a great photographer in Round Rock, Jennifer Hitt who not only photographs show dogs, but has one of her own…http://jenniferhitt.com/ and I have heard her horror stories. Sooo…with all that pressure to produce a playful, yet appropriately posed puppy portrait combined with a very peppy Josh (yes, his name is Josh) I had my work cut out for me. I’m pleased to announce that my friend is very happy with our results. I’m not ready to take on show dogs…but if you have a stylish four legged friend at home that is special “just cuz”…then I’m the photographer for you! You know what makes Babies, Bumps, Couples and Puppies look great…when they’re photographed by CN Photography and they’re surrounded by the famous Texas Bluebonnets! They start blooming in mid to late April, but they don’t last long! Check your calendar and give me a call…ya’ll!

This is my favoritest maternity shot – EVER! I love, love, love this baby bump silhouette! The parents aren’t bad looking either – check out parent’s-to-be Amber and Kelly – don’t they look happy! (Daddy-to-be looks a little nervous – but we all know he’ll be just fine!) Anyway, who says you have to do the standard maternity portraits? Be creative with the belly!

If that’s the case – then this little man will be quite the gentleman. Little Dylan was so sweet with his mommy for his 9 month portrait session. Don’t you just love the dynamic between a mother and her son?

I love photographing at the Missions – Family Portraits are just so beautiful out there. These were taken at Mission San Jose on a rainy day – but it worked out for us! The kids were in great moods, Mom and Dad were sweet and the light was perfect – couldn’t ask for more!

I thought it was fitting to post a newborn baby session – since the last two were weddings…first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby…sleeping in CN Photography’s studio! This sweet one is 5 weeks old – and he didn’t want to sleep for his session. Mommy and Daddy were very calm and relaxed so finally he shut those pretty eyes and gave us some great poses. Ahh…don’t you just love sleeping babies…me too!
